Amy is a Missouri native, growing up in Jefferson City. She went to college just up the road at the University of Missouri, Columbia where her foreign language major soon took her to Germany, where she subsequently lived for 10 years, working in adult education for the German job placement agency. Upon her return to the United States, she settled into a job in the Not-For-Profit sector, wearing research, media, marketing, and grant writing hats. A move to St. Louis 10 years ago allowed her the opportunity to once again become involved in education, working for Global Licensed Trainers teaching English to business professionals currently on long-term assignments in the US. She’s worked with clients from 26 countries, spanning 5 continents. In June of 2022 she was offered the opportunity to switch gears and join the world of finance. Amy came on board full-time at RBF Wealth Advisors the following September as a Client Services Associate and Executive Assistant to Mark Johnson. She and her husband have 4 adult children, 3 grandchildren and 2 granddogs. Outside the office Amy enjoys volunteer refugee/immigrant work, travel, exploring independent bookstores and perfecting her calligraphy skills.
